Ken Agyapong as president will beat people at cabinet—Atta Akyea

Former Works and Housing Minister Samuel Atta Akyea has urged New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates to reject Kennedy Agyapong because of his temperament.
According to him, if care is not taken, Kennedy Agyapong can beat his ministers at cabinet meetings.
He holds the view that Kennedy Agyapong does not have the temperament of someone who can be a leader of a country like Ghana.
“I don’t have any problem with Ken Ohene Agyapong, but becoming a leader takes a lot. I am afraid of his temperament, and I am afraid that he will beat someone at cabinet. He has been seen engaged in public spectacles, which are not expected of a leader,” he said.
Atta Akyea, who was speaking on Accra-based UTV, further indicated that “the temperament of a president is someone who has shock absorbers, not someone who can openly say he will fight someone with whom he has a problem. He is my classmate, and I should have supported him, but he says he will insult someone publicly. Caustic language, insulting behaviour from someone who wants to lead the country”.
To him “What we can do for him as a businessman is to help him build big businesses, but if we are combining temperament, vision, intellect, and intellectual prowess, Bawumia is ahead of him. I can tell you that people who follow him are afraid of him and so his temperament cannot be controlled”.
