Bee attack at Kpandai is an act of God against NDC — NPP Executive

The Ashanti Regional Communication Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Yandoh, has described the recent bee attack at Kpandai as an act of divine intervention, claiming it was intended to prevent the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from unlawfully occupying the parliamentary seat.
Speaking on Angel FM Kumasi monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Mr. Yandoh alleged that the NDC attempted to force a rerun of the Kpandai parliamentary election despite failing to follow the procedures outlined in the Representation of the People Act. He explained that the law requires any challenge to election results to be filed within 21 days after gazetting, but the NDC allegedly submitted its complaint after about 32 days.
According to him, the Supreme Court’s decision to halt processes toward a rerun was based on this procedural breach, a point he says the NDC failed to understand before mobilising to Kpandai.
Mr. Yandoh linked the subsequent bee attack, which reportedly led to the death of one person, to what he described as divine resistance. He warned that if the NDC continues to pursue the seat through what he called “wrong means,” more severe consequences could follow.
“If they are not careful, next time it may not be bees,” he cautioned, adding that stronger “divine actions” could occur.
He further claimed that God was fighting for the NPP because the party had been subjected to unnecessary hardship, insisting that the Kpandai seat rightfully belongs to the NPP.
