I’m doing a collab with a young artist now

During his Joy Prime interview, Kojo Antwi revealed his commitment to supporting the next generation of Ghanaian musicians.
“I interact with them, and this is somebody that I’ve watched over time,” he said in an interview on Joy Prime monitored by MyNewsGh. “When the song comes and I feel it will allow me to be myself, I know I will bless it.”
He highlighted the importance of collaboration and sharing experience. “Working with these young ones is always a privilege… it is not just about the music, it is about the message,” he explained.
Antwi emphasized that mentorship should focus on artistry and uniting audiences rather than chasing trends.
The veteran musician also noted the evolving music industry. “There is social media, TikTok, Instagram, all these platforms, but we need to put a bit of us in there because the messages travel a very long distance,” he said.
