A gov’t shielding corrupt persons can’t claim to fight it—Janet Nabla

Chairperson and Leader of the People’s National Party (PNP), Janet Nabla, believes that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is not fighting corruption.
According to her, what the government is doing is shielding corrupt individuals but witch-hunting opposition members.
To her, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government does not have the moral right to
“The way the NDC is handling the Ken Ofori-Atta issue shocks and amazes me. The person told you that he isn’t feeling well, and the person told you that he can do a Zoom meeting…
You don’t have the money for Ken Ofori-Atta to take. The money you are accusing him of taking belongs to the people of Ghana. It is not the six million people who voted for you; it is the 35 million people’s money, so don’t take it like a silver cup and carry it and be doing like you are fighting corruption when you don’t have the moral right to fight corruption.
The same attorney general who is talking about Ken Ofori-Atta has been able to give nolle prosequi to allow people who owe over ten billion cedis to go, and you are following Ken Ofori-Atta for 1.4 billion.
It is righteous indignation that I will see NDC acting like they have the moral right to fight corruption. You are not fighting corruption; you are those who shield corrupt people. The only reason you are following Ofori-Atta is that he belongs to the opposition party. This is witch-hunting. If it’s not witch-hunting, take that Zoom meeting he offered,” he stated.
