As the year gradually draws to an end, it is time for us to reflect deeply and reason sincerely with our colleagues and friends across different beliefs, especially our Christian brothers and sisters. I want to use this opportunity to honestly congratulate the Christian community for the strong bond, commitment, and devotion they show toward the birth and life of Jesus Christ.
As a Muslim, I say this with absolute sincerity, most of my friends are Christians. I work with them, I struggle with them, I stand with them, and I succeed with them. This season gives us all, Muslims and Christians alike the opportunity to reflect on the birth of Jesus Christ and the timeless values He brought to humanity, peace, love, reconciliation, and unity.
The Bible reminds us that “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God” (Matthew 5:9). Indeed, the message of Christ calls us not to division, but to togetherness.
In the New Patriotic Party (NPP), particularly in the Western Region and across the nation, we stand as one united family. We do not discriminate. We believe in competence, loyalty, honesty, and the ability to work harmoniously with others. As Scripture says, “There is neither Jew nor Greek… for you are all one” (Galatians 3:28). This spirit of unity is exactly what our party and our youth front need at this critical moment.
The Bible also teaches us that “A house divided against itself cannot stand” (Mark 3:25). Therefore, now more than ever, we must come together as one force, stronger, focused, and united, if we are to move forward and secure victory.
As I seek the position of National Youth Organiser of the NPP, I humbly call on everyone to come on board. Let us build together. Let us strengthen the youth. Let us deepen our connections across TESCON, Regional Youth Organisers, Constituency Youth Organisers, and our hardworking grassroots members. Every single one of us is needed in this call.
The Scripture encourages us that “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labour” (Ecclesiastes 4:9). Together, we can achieve more than we ever could apart.
Let us support one another. Let us bless one another. Let us move forward in unity, guided by faith, integrity, and purpose.
I therefore call on all well-meaning party faithful across faiths, regions, and structures to support Atick for National Youth Organiser, for the sake of unity, progress, and a stronger NPP.
Together, we will build. Together, we will win.
