Ablakwa applauds public praise for passport reforms

Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP) Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has expressed gratitude and renewed commitment to service following a wave of positive feedback from Ghanaians who have benefited from the recent passport reforms and enhanced embassy services.

In a post shared on his official Facebook page, Ablakwa highlighted comments from satisfied citizens praising the efficiency of passport processing, renewals, and the improved responsiveness at Ghana’s embassies across the world.

“Really touching and inspiring feedback from Ghanaians I have never met who have been at the receiving end of our passport reforms and improved responsiveness at our embassies,” he wrote.

Ablakwa emphasized that the team’s efforts are not a form of charity but a duty to the people of Ghana.

“We are deeply encouraged to keep pursuing excellence and serving you better — not because it’s a favour — but because it’s your right as a citizen of Ghana.”

He also acknowledged the collective efforts of everyone involved in making the reforms a reality.

“I celebrate everyone in the chain making this possible — from our MFA staff, private partners, to our delivery teams — God bless you all.”

Concluding his message, he reaffirmed his belief in a renewed national vision:

“Let’s keep resetting for a better Ghana. For God and Country.”

The passport reforms have been widely acknowledged as part of broader efforts to improve public service delivery and restore confidence in Ghana’s foreign missions.
