Ablakwa Commissions 20th kindergarten block in North Tongu

Member of Parliament for North Tongu and Foreign Affairs Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has reaffirmed his dedication to educational development in his constituency, following the commissioning of a newly constructed and fully furnished kindergarten block in Aveyime.
The MP shared highlights from his visit to North Tongu on Monday, where he inaugurated the latest addition to his growing list of educational projects.
“I was in my beloved North Tongu earlier today to commission a newly constructed and fully furnished Kindergarten Block.
“This brings the total number of KG projects spearheaded by the MP in recent years to 20,” Ablakwa stated Taking to his official Facebook page.
The newly completed Aveyime Methodist KG, he noted, is a modern facility equipped to support early childhood education in a dignified environment.
“The new Aveyime Methodist KG has 100-capacity classrooms, teachers’ offices, kitchen, washrooms, storeroom, poly tanks and a playground,” he outlined.
In addition to infrastructural support, the MP also used the occasion to empower students financially.
“I also presented scholarships worth GHS145,000.00 to tertiary students,” he announced.
Ablakwa also inspected ongoing recovery efforts following recent severe rainstorms that damaged school buildings in the area. He confirmed that all 28 affected schools have been fully restored.
“During my visit, I confirmed that the team of local artisans I put together have completed the renovation of all 28 schools recently affected by a devastating rainstorm,” he revealed.
He concluded by saying; “Investing in quality education will remain my priority as MP.”
