Ablakwa commissions new maternal & child health clinic in Juapong

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has commissioned a newly built Maternal and Child Health Clinic in Juapong as part of efforts to improve healthcare delivery in the constituency.

In a statement on his Facebook page, Mr. Ablakwa expressed gratitude to the Engage Africa Now Foundation for their partnership, which led to the construction and full equipping of the facility within just six months.

He also revealed that he personally donated all the medical equipment required to make the clinic fully operational from today.

“This facility has the capacity for 3,000 safe deliveries in a year and would tremendously improve maternal health outcomes,” Ablakwa stated.

The North Tongu MP also used the occasion to announce several upcoming development projects that have been approved for the constituency, including major road constructions, bridges, school infrastructure, and teachers’ accommodation.

Additionally, he disclosed that arrangements have been made for all BECE candidates in the constituency to check their results for free, with the cost covered by his office.

Mr. Ablakwa assured the people of North Tongu that, despite his demanding national and international obligations, more development projects will continue to be rolled out under former President John Mahama’s Reset Agenda.

“My beloved North Tongu shall receive its fair share of development… More to come,” he emphasized.
