Some residents of Accra Newtown stormed the entrance of a hotel in the area on April 7, 2025, over allegations that the facility was offering room services to underage girls.
According to the residents, three young girls believed to be minors were discovered lodged at the hotel late in the night. The incident sparked outrage among community members, who expressed concern about the hotel’s activities and its potential role in endangering the welfare of children.
The residents are calling on the police and other relevant authorities to intervene and take immediate action against the establishment.
