Accra Set to welcome the world for GEF 2025

Ghana will take centre stage this November as it hosts the world’s largest entrepreneurship gathering, the Global Entrepreneurship Festival (GEF), from November 21–23, 2025, at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel & Resort in Accra.
President John Dramani Mahama, in a landmark announcement, affirmed the country’s full readiness to welcome thousands of delegates for what he called a “historic global event.”
He noted that this year’s theme, “The AI-Powered Entrepreneur,” aligns with his administration’s vision to harness technology and artificial intelligence to drive innovation, create jobs, and accelerate development.
He applauded the GEF board for entrusting Ghana with the festival, describing it as a powerful platform that unites leaders, investors, policymakers, and entrepreneurs from around the world.
“Ghana is open, ready and committed to making GEF 2025 a landmark event in history,” he declared, pledging his personal support to ensure its success.
The three-day festival will draw over 10,000 in-person participants, more than 200 investors, and 60 global speakers, with millions expected to join virtually.
Activities will span conferences, networking sessions, hackathons, innovation expos, trade fairs, leadership forums, and cultural showcases, all centred on the theme of building a sustainable planet through AI-powered entrepreneurship.
