Member of Parliament for Madina, Xavier Sosu, has welcomed the decision to investigate the cause of the helicopter crash at Adansi in the Ashanti Region.
According to him, the investigation will help prevent a future recurrence of the same incident.
In a post on social media, the Member of Parliament prayed that God preserve the departed souls.
His post read “Philippians 1:21 ‘For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”
I am deeply saddened by the loss of our countrymen. But this also reveals the reality of life and our public service. We must serve today with love and integrity, knowing we may not have tomorrow.
Sad as it may be, a full investigation into this accident to prevent a future recurrence is welcome news in honour of our fallen heroes.
I pray that God will preserve our lives (Psalm 91:16) as we serve.

Meanwhile, an interagency team is currently investigating the cause of the Adansi crash on August 6, 2025 that led to the loss of the eight occupants of the helicopter.
