She is in good health – Govt shares latest update on Vice President Opoku-Agyemang’s condition

Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is in good health and recuperating in the United Kingdom, according to Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister of State in charge of Government Communications.

“She is currently in good health and taking a short rest as advised by her doctors and, in short order, she should be back to her duties.

She is in the United Kingdom as I speak,” Kwakye Ofosu confirmed during an interview on Channel One TV.

The Vice President reportedly took ill shortly after concluding official duties on Friday, March 28.

She was initially attended to at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) before being flown abroad for further observation and care.

In the wake of her absence, social media was flooded with speculation and falsehoods about her health condition—narratives that government officials have strongly condemned as politically charged and misleading.

Officials insist the Vice President is recovering well and will resume her full duties soon.
