Afenyo-Markin insists ORAL has been flying drones on his properties

The Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has insisted that members of Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) have been flying drones across his properties.
This is despite the initial denial by Private legal practitioner and ORAL committee member Martin Kpebu.
Kpebu had described the allegation as “ridiculous” and urged the public to disregard them.
“It is false. The ORAL committee has not sent any drones to spy on the Minority Leader’s properties—it is not true at all.
“Looking at the members of the team, you can hazard that the committee will not do something ridiculous like that, so let’s disregard it. We do not own any drones as a committee at all,” Kpebu told Citi News.
But responding to him, on God Evening Ghana show, Afenyo-Markin said “if [Martin Kpebu] doesn’t know, fine, but if he knows and he wants to come to public space to deny it, I leave him to his conscience.”
He further revealed that ORAL has been conducting deep-sea fishing on him to see if he is in possession of state properties.
The search, he said, is also being carried out on his bank accounts.
All these are attempts to frustrate him as the Minority Leader as he subjects the ministerial nominees to scrutiny, he said.
“These guys have been doing deep ocean fishing, they have been checking my bank accounts. But at the time that I took up this job I knew all these things would happen, Minority Leader won’t be allowed to have his peace, so you need to have that gravitas, be ready and determined.”
