Afenyo-Markin leads Minority caucus in pre-opening workshop ahead of parliament meeting

The Minority Caucus of Parliament, led by Hon. Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has held its second Strategic Pre-Opening Workshop ahead of the Third Meeting of the First Session of the 9th Parliament.
According to a statement shared by the Minority Leader on social media, the workshop was designed to prepare members of the caucus for the upcoming parliamentary meeting by reviewing key legislative priorities and strengthening internal coordination.
“The workshop provided an opportunity for the Caucus to deliberate on key national issues and parliamentary business, review legislative priorities and strengthen coordination,” Afenyo-Markin noted.
The session forms part of ongoing efforts by the Minority Caucus to enhance its effectiveness in parliamentary proceedings and ensure that members are well-positioned to address critical national matters when the House reconvenes.
The Third Meeting of the First Session of the 9th Parliament is expected to address a number of major bills and national policy discussions, with the Minority Caucus signaling its readiness to actively participate in shaping the legislative agenda.
