A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Arthur Kennedy, has hailed the decision of Paul Afoko to contest for the chairmanship of the NPP.
He sees the decision of Paul Afoko as excellent, indicating that there is an exciting redemptive quality.
Arthur Kennedy was speaking on Accra-based TV3 when he made this known.
Although he is not sure of his chances, he believes that the decision to contest after how he was booted out is welcoming.
“Excellent idea,” he said, adding that “there is a redemptive quality to Paul Afoko’s running. He wasn’t treated well. It is always possible that he won’t do well, but I think there is an exciting redemptive quality.”
Paul Afoko has declared that he will be contesting for the chairmanship of the NPP.
Afoko, who was removed as the Chairman of the NPP ahead of the 2016 election, believes that he still has what it takes to build the NPP and ensure that the political party regain its glory days.
