Sister of the late musician Daddy Lumba, Ernestina Akosua Brimpomaa has backed Akosua Serwaa as the only legally wedded wife of her brother.
According to him, per her knowledge, Akosua Serwaaa is the only wife who should be allowed to perform the widowhood rights for the late musician.
Ernestina Akosua Brimpomaa explains that she only acknowledges Akosua Serwaa, as she was the only woman her brother got married to.
“After the one-week observation, we had a meeting, and Akosua Serwaa told the family that she wants to be the only one to observe the widowhood rites. I support her stance because, to the best of my knowledge, she is the only woman my brother got married to,” she said.
Lumba’s sister was speaking on Accra-based United Television when she made this known.
She further dispelled reports that suggested that Daddy Lumba had seventeen children.
“My brother has eleven children with four women,” she said.
