Ghanaian entertainment icon Akwasi Boadi, widely known as Akrobeto, is confirmed to be safe and in good health following a minor car accident that occurred on the Konongo-Kumasi highway in the early hours of Friday, May 24, 2025.
Akrobeto, famed for his hilarious parody news segment The Real News on UTV, was en route to Kumasi for a scheduled appearance when the incident happened.
According to eyewitnesses, his vehicle was involved in a minor collision, but the veteran actor and TV personality fortunately escaped without injury.
Sources close to Akrobeto have assured the public that there were no health complications and that he resumed his journey shortly after the incident. “He wasn’t hurt at all and is doing just fine,” a close associate confirmed.
