The goal of the one-month program, “Let’s Keep Accra Clean,” is to enhance environmental hygiene, encourage responsible waste management, and foster a sense of community ownership and accountability for upholding a clean environment.

Targeting all 25 local government authorities in the Greater Accra Region, the campaign is a cooperative effort between the Ga Traditional Council (GTC) and other government organizations.

During the campaign, there will be stringent enforcement of bylaws to ensure compliance with waste management legislation, education on proper waste management procedures, and household registration for organized waste collection services.
