Apostle Kwadwo Safo, the revered leader of the Kristo Asafo Church and founder of the Kantanka brand is dead.
He reportedly passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
In a statement, the Safo family and the church described him as a man of God, an industrialist, philanthropist, and innovator whose contributions transformed faith, technology, and community development in Ghana.
“With profound sorrow and deepest grief, the Safo family and the Kristo Asafo Church announce the peaceful passing of Ghana’s beloved man of God, the greatest technological icon, philanthropist, agriculturalist, and industrialist,” the statement read.
Signed by his daughter, former MP Sarah Adwoa Safo, the family’s message paid tribute to him as “a true genius, a beacon of hope for many, and a father to the fatherless.”
They also noted that funeral arrangements would be shared later while asking the public to respect their privacy during this period of mourning.
