The National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) parliamentary candidate, John Dumelo, has addressed the water scarcity in the University of Ghana’s new residence halls.
Students who have struggled with restricted access to water for several days received tanks of water from the actor-turned-farmer.
When the Ghana Water Company will bring back water to the university campus is still unknown.
John Dumelo announced his actions in a social media post, stating, “I responded to the plight of students on Legon campus today with regards to the water shortage. I hope this gesture will mitigate the situation until we find a permanent solution.”
In an effort to win the election and serve the people, John Dumelo is running against Lydia Alhassan for the position of Member of Parliament in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.
