Executive Director of the Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability (ASEPA), Mensah Thompson, has been appointed Ag. Deputy Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission.-SEC.
He comes to the position after years of advocacy, especially against the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and their policies and programmes.
In a post announcing his appointment via social media, Mensah Thompson who is known in the CSO world, sai,d “Thank you His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for the opportunity to serve as the Ag. Deputy Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission.-SEC”.
Mensah Thompson will be deputizing Dr. James Klutse Avedzi, who is the acting director-general.
