Asiedu Nketia in Japan for on a working trip

Chairman of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Asiedu Nketia has left Accra for Japan on a working visit.
The NDC chairman is leading a team from the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GHAPOHA) where he serves as board chairman, to participate in the Annual General Meeting of the International Association of Ports and Harbours (IAPH).
The conference which is scheduled to take place in Kobe, Japan brings together leading figures in the global maritime industry to deliberate on strategies for enhancing port operations, shipping efficiency, and international trade.
The West African country’s participation is expected to strengthen cooperation with international partners and attract new opportunities for the country’s ports sector.
In his absence, the National Democratic Congress’s Vice Chairman Sofo Azorka will act as Chairman of the political party.
Meanwhile, Chairman Asiedu Nketia and the delegation will be back in Ghana on October 12.
