The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, is set to embark on a three-day “Thank-You” tour of the Volta Region from Tuesday, October 14 to Friday, October 17, 2025.
According to a statement signed by the party’s Acting Volta Regional Secretary, Bright Kwashie Ege, the visit is aimed at expressing appreciation to the people of the region for their overwhelming support during the 2024 General Elections.
“The National Chairman will embark on a three-day ‘Thank-You’ Tour of the region to express his appreciation to the people for their overwhelming support for the Party during the 2024 General Elections,” the letter stated.
Mr. Ege urged constituency chairmen to ensure full participation in the exercise, emphasizing the need for collaboration among local leaders.
“You are kindly requested to engage MCEs and Members of Parliament within your constituencies to support the mobilization efforts and ensure that key stakeholders, party executives, and members actively participate in the programme,” he noted.
The statement added that Mr. Asiedu Nketia will provide financial assistance to constituencies to support their mobilization activities.
“The National Chairman will provide financial support to each constituency to assist with mobilization and related activities,” it read.
