Attorney General to answer all questions on the Unibank today

Ghana’s Attorney General is expected to take his turn on the Government’s Accountability Series today.
The Attorney General, through a statement, announced that a nolle prosequi had been entered in The Republic v. Kwabena Duffour & 7 Others case.

He is expected to provide a detailed explanation of the decision to drop the charges against Dr Kwabena Duffour, who is the owner of the defunct UniBank.
This will bring to rest the confusion surrounding government’s decision to discontinue the case.
The Attorney General and Minister for Justice will also brief the country on ORAL and what the government is doing in its fight against corruption in the country.
Felix Ofosu Kwakye who made this known in an earlier post shared via social media said “Attorney-General and Minister for Justice,Hon Dr. Dominic Ayine,will appear at the Government Accountability Series on Monday,28th July,2025,to answer all questions on the Unibank matter,provide an update on ORAL and unfurl details of a case he calls “RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE”.
