The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the calendar for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Basic schools are expected to reopen on September 2, 2025, for the first term and vacate on December 19, 2025.
The midterm break will be from October 31 to November 3, 2025.
For the second term, the basic schools are expected to reopen on January 8, 2026, and vacate on April 2, 2026.
Third Term is expected to reopen on April 21, 2026, and vacate on July 24, 2026.
The Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) is expected to take place from May 4 to May 11, 2026.
