Bawku conflict is now a national issue, fix it

Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagbah, is of the view that the Bawku crisis is now a national issue and needs to be addressed.
He has urged the president to take steps towards addressing the issues emanating from that side of the country, as it can have an adverse effect on the nation.
In a tweet commenting on the recent killing and destruction of properties, Ahiagbah said, “Multiple things are vying for attention, but none is as urgent as the Bawku conflict, which demands the government’s undivided attention.
This conflict can no longer be seen as a problem for Bawku because it has significant implications for the overall security of the state. To restore peace in Bawku, we must come together and collaborate. We need peace in Bawku, Mr. President”.
Meanwhile, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has been charged with the responsibility of ensuring a lasting solution to the conflict.
