Flagbearer aspirant Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will begin his campaign tour in the Eastern Region of Ghana today, September 24, 2025.
The former Vice President is expected to be in the region for two days.
While there, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is expected to meet with Regional Executives, delegates, and others to present his vision for the party.

This will be the second region the former Vice President is visiting for campaign activities after he visited the Ashanti Region some weeks ago.
Meanwhile, the former Vice President subjected himself to vetting on September 23, 2025 and was optimistic that he would win the 2026 primaries and subsequently the presidential elections for the NPP in 2028.
