Bawumia has been prepared to lead – Former MCE asserts

Ike Apaw Gyasi has expressed unwavering confidence in the leadership potential of former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, describing him as a product of deliberate national grooming and a leader poised to deliver the transformation Ghana needs.
The Former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for New Juaben South, while speaking on Channel One TV on Monday, June 23, ahead of a planned engagement between Dr. Bawumia and former Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCES) of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), shared his optimism about Ghana’s future under Bawumia’s leadership.
“I am waiting for this country to go through the transformational process that we have always talked about, and in my view, I think that we have in Dr. Bawumia a leader who has shown a proven track record,” he stated.
Gyasi highlighted the importance of nurturing leadership and allowing it the time and space to mature. He said Dr. Bawumia has undergone that process and is now ready to lead Ghana into a new era of development.
“When we nurture leadership, we must always give it time to blossom. I see Dr. Bawumia as somebody who has been nurtured by this country, and in my view, I think that he will be a fine president in this country,” he added.
