Renowned broadcaster Dasebre Adjei Dwamena has cautioned that any attempt to bypass Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the race for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer position ahead of the 2028 elections will be futile.
Speaking on Movement In the Morning Political Show on Wontumi Radio and Movement TV, he emphasized that the party is firmly positioned to support Bawumia’s candidacy.
“Anybody who wants to be the flagbearer of the party but has a mind-set of stampeding Bawumia should know it won’t work. That fellow would rather leave the party like Alan Kyeremanten did,” he declared.
Dwamena further warned that any individual seeking to use unfair tactics to displace Bawumia would ultimately waste their resources, as the party remains committed to backing the current Vice President.
“You will waste your money if you want to bypass Bawumia to become the flagbearer of NPP,” he added.
