Global Info Analytics in its latest poll has indicated that the voters preference for the New Patriotic Party leadership backs Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to him, the former vice president has the support of 48.1% of the sample size backing him to lead the political party in the next election.
He is followed by Kennedy Agyapong, who has the backing of 25% of the sample size.
The next popular leader is Dr. Yaw Adu Twum, who got 12.5% of the sample size backing him.
Making this known in a post shared via social media, Musa Dankwa said “The new poll also shows voters preference for NPP leadership with 48.1% backing Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, 25.0% Kennedy Agyapong and Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, 12.5%”.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia led the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to the 2024 elections, which saw the party losing to John Dramani Mahama.
There are calls for him to be maintained; however, the party will have to decide through the polls to ensure that their choice goes in line with democratic principles.
