President of Policy Think Tank, Imani Africa, Franklin has described the 2025 budget as a humane budget.
He reached this conclusion over the decision of the minister to reduce tax refunds to take care of eliminated taxes.
To him, this is a breath of fresh air for the Ghanaian people with hopes of better things to come.
Franklin Cudjoe made this known through a post shared via social media.
“Smart Finance Minister. Reducing tax refund to take care of eliminated taxes? Didn’t see that coming. A humane budget. Fresh Air,” he said.
Meanwhile, during the reading of the 2025 budget, the finance minister announced that e-levy has been abolished, emissions levy and 10% betting tax have been abolished too.
