Former Vice President of Ghana and Flagbearer hopeful, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, will today, August 28, file his nomination at the New Patriotic Party (NPP) headquarters.
He is expected at the party’s headquarters at 8 am today.
This will be a step towards his ambition to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to victory in the 2028 election.
The 2024 flagbearer is expected to be in the company of his wife and members of his team.
Dr. Bawumia will be expected to address his teeming supporters after he has officially presented the document to the political party.
His message, according to persons close to him, will be that of unity, peace, and the need to focus on ideas, track records as the party campaigns to choose their next flagbearer.
