Former Vice President and 2024 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has visited Hawa Koomson at her residence.
The visit by Dr Mahamudu Bawumia was to check on her after she was assaulted by some thugs at Ablekuma North on July 11, 2025.
Hawa Koomson was part of the leading members of the opposition political party who were assualted during the rerun at Ablekuma North.
The conduct has been condemned by many who believe was not worth it.
Vice President Prof Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang has condemned the violence and is of the view that Ghana should get to a point where elections will be orderly and ordinary by default.
