Defence Minister Dr Omane Boamah believes that the former vice president of Ghana must also be blamed for the party’s failure in the 2024 elections.
He believes that it is imperative that the former vice president stop shifting blame on everyone but himself.
To him, Bawumia’s role in the electoral defeat is critical and must not be overlooked.
In a Facebook post, Dr Omane Boamah said “Elections 2024: Bawumia is blaming everything & everybody EXCEPT HIMSELF. Bawumia was critical for NPP’s economic mess”.
His comments come on the back of the Vice President calling on members of the NPP not to make disparaging comments about the party.
The former vice president and 2024 flagbearer of the NPP said disparaging comments made about the party were used against the party, hence the need for circumspection.
