Be a man or be a woman

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has opened up about his past interactions with crossdresser Bobrisky and their falling out.

Speaking candidly on the latest edition of the Echoroom podcast, Portable shared the advice he gave Bobrisky, urging him to reconsider his lifestyle choices.

“I am God-sent and an angel of God. I told Bobrisky to stop what he is doing. I told him, ‘If you want to be a woman, be a woman. If you want to be a man, be a man,’” Portable revealed, adding that he had tried to guide his former friend away from the path he was on.

Portable, known for his no-holds-barred approach to life and music, said he had been concerned for Bobrisky, questioning why someone born a man would choose to present as a woman. He explained, “Why would Bobrisky present himself as a woman when he was born a man?”

Their relationship has been rocky in the past, with public feuds that have sparked significant attention.

Bobrisky and Portable have clashed over various issues, from their differing views on gender identity to personal insults exchanged on social media.

Despite their differences, Portable made it clear in the podcast that he still considered Bobrisky a “friend” at some point.
