Before you throw stones, examine yourself – Duncan-Williams on allegations against him

Founder and General Overseer of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, has finally addressed recent allegations leveled against him on social media by a former UK High Commissioner to Ghana and a local politician.

The Archbishop said he was unbothered by the claims, stressing that his nearly five-decade-long ministry has exposed him to numerous similar attacks.

“This is my 47th year in ministry, and I’ve seen the outcome of such individuals,” he stated. “I’m used to these kinds of media misrepresentations over the years.”

While the Archbishop did not directly mention the names of those involved, he cautioned the public—especially those quick to judge others—to be mindful of their own flaws.

“Make no mistake, it’s a lie to think you can attack and discredit people and nothing will happen to you,” he warned during an exclusive interview with Bernard Avle on The Point of View on Channel One TV monired by MyNewsGh.com.

“I’ve seen these kinds of people over the years and the decades. They never end well. And that is all I’ll say.”

Using a biblical reference to the story of the adulterous woman, Duncan-Williams highlighted what he sees as hypocrisy in human judgment.

“The woman caught in adultery—there was an error there. It takes two to commit adultery, but they left the man and brought the woman,” he said. “Jesus said, anyone among you who is without sin, let him throw the first stone. Everyone dropped their stones and walked away.”

He concluded by calling on critics to self-reflect before casting judgment on others.

“Before you throw stones at someone else, examine yourself. That’s the lesson here,” the Archbishop added.
