Ghana’s Black Queens have arrived in Ghana from Morocco.
The team was greeted with a rousing welcome from Ghanaians and several football lovers for their exploits at the just-ended Women’s African Cup of Nations.
Supporters unions, clad in their jerseys, sang songs to appreciate what God has done and the feat chalked by the queens at the just-ended tournament.
To welcome them at the Kotoka International Airport are the president of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku, and the sports minister, Kofi Adams.
The Black Queen clinched third place in this year’s WAFCON, which is an improvement on the performance since the last time they took part in the tournament.
