‘Blue Balls’ is a blackmail myth used by men – Medical Doctor blows alarm

A Medical Doctor has shot down the claim that men suffer from ‘blue balls’ when they fail to make love to ladies after becoming horny.
Dr John Kanyiri Yambah, Medical Director of the University of Education, Winneba(UEW) argued that it is a blackmail myth used by men to exploit young ladies into succumbing to their insatiable sex desires. According to him, there is no such thing as ‘blue balls’ in medicine, adding that it is only a trick men employ in pursuit of their self-seeking agenda.
Speaking on how erection prolongs, he said “it only occurs when blood through the veins flows in and when the act does not take place or occurs, it flows back. It is therefore inaccurate to state that there is pain when one does not engage in sex after being in the mood. It is a blackmail tool”, he stressed.
Dr Ayamba was speaking at a Testicular Health Awareness seminar organised by the Department of Strategic Communication of the School of Communication and Media Studies(SCMS) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW).
The Testicular Health Awareness Seminar was aimed at creating awareness about the health status of the testicles, an area that has received less attention over a period. The event, which forms part of the coursework of Masters Students on Social Campaign Planning and Management, attracted students and faculty members of the SCMS.
