Bring ideas, not just criticism – Nana Yaa Jantuah to Ghanaians on Bawku conflict

Presidential Staffer Nana Yaa Jantuah is calling on Ghanaians to actively contribute to efforts aimed at resolving the long-standing Bawku conflict by offering concrete solutions rather than mere criticism.

She encouraged citizens with ideas to engage relevant authorities to help shape the government’s approach during The Verdict with Isaac Addae on Starr 103.5 FM.

“If there is anyone who thinks they have a better solution, it is easy,” she said. “You can go to the Ministry of Interior. Hon. Muntaka is an open person. You can go to Defence, he is another open person, and say for the sake of Ghana, this is my strategy. They will take it.”

She expressed concern over critics who condemn current strategies without presenting alternatives. “If you say the strategies are failing without offering any options, then I have a problem,” she stated.

Reinforcing President Mahama’s recent appeal for unity, she stressed the importance of national cohesion. “The president says there’s no need to kill ourselves because we are brothers and sisters. So fundamentally, whatever the problem is, let’s resolve it. Conflicts come and go. You’d see that in some time, it will be resolved,” she added.
