Campaigns should be free of insults and personal attacks—NPP’s Abankwa Yeboah

Kwabena Abankwa Yeboah has urged party members and aspirants to prioritize unity, focus, and a shared vision as the party gears up for internal elections.
The deputy chairman of the NPP Election Committee emphasized that the ultimate goal is to lead a party that is united and committed to delivering better governance for the nation.
“At the end of the day, we want to lead a party which is united, a party which has focus, a vision, and a party which wants to deliver this nation better,” he said.
He encouraged candidates to actively communicate their vision to followers, highlighting solutions for youth, the elderly, and citizens facing challenges, such as issues with land systems.
“They should market your vision… what you have for the nation, the youth, the old, and those who have problems with their land systems… so that at the end of the day, the delegates who vote will look at that aspect and vote for the rightful candidate that the party desires and needs,” Yeboah added.
The deputy chairman also called for a campaign free of insults and personal attacks, focusing instead on promoting unity within the party.
“I want to pray that this campaign will be void of insults, void of attacks on personalities who are contesting, but rather it should be that which will bring unity to the party… so that when we are done with the elections in January, the party will move forward as one, aiming at the victory that we desire in 2028,” he said.
Yeboah concluded by wishing all aspirants well as the campaign progresses, reinforcing the party’s focus on a peaceful and issue-driven electoral process.
