Captain Planet questions revealing outfits at Tidal Rave 2025

Ghanaian musician Captain Planet has raised concerns about what he describes as overly revealing outfits worn by some attendees at the 2025 Tidal Rave concert.
Posting on X, he expressed shock at the fashion choices he saw circulating online after the event.
“I just dey see some dressings from yesterday’s Tidal Rave. Chale, some of these small small girls, I don’t know whether them be models or pornstars. What the hell is happening in Ghana?” he wrote.

Tidal Rave is one of Ghana’s largest annual beach festivals, known for combining music, youth culture, and outdoor entertainment.
The event typically draws thousands of young people and has grown into a significant platform for performances by top Ghanaian and international acts.
The 2025 edition was organised in partnership with the Black Star Experience (BSE) under the Office of the President, further elevating its profile.
This year’s concert featured performances by Ghanaian artistes such as Black Sherif, Gyakie, Moliy, Darko Vibes, OlivetheBoy, and Shatta Wale.
Nigerian star Ayra Starr also graced the stage, delivering high-energy performances of songs including “Hot Body” and “Dat Girl.”
