I wish to take this opportunity to wholeheartedly commend Chairman Evans, the Oti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, for the admirable way he has conducted himself throughout this electioneering period. His composure, dignity, and message of peace have been refreshing and inspiring.
In a time when political discourse often becomes divisive, Chairman Evans has chosen the higher road, preaching unity, togetherness, and mutual respect among party members.
His focus has consistently been on strengthening the NPP family before, during, and after the internal elections, with the ultimate aim of winning power to serve Ghana.
At every opportunity, Chairman Evans reminded delegates that disagreement is natural, but how we handle it determines whether we build or break the party.
He called on all members to share their ideas passionately, yet with respect, and to campaign in a manner that unites rather than tears us apart.
His campaign style was not about attacking personalities but about presenting a clear, policy-driven vision for victory.
He showed that politics can be conducted with love, humility, and a sense of responsibility. Personally, I have learned that winning hearts in politics is not about insults or accusations, but about selling a compelling message that people can trust and support.
I therefore recommend Chairman Evans’ style of campaigning to all aspirants and supporters across the country.
Let us emulate his example by focusing on the real issues, selling our policies with honesty, and inspiring confidence in the delegates and the wider Ghanaian public.
My own support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is built on this same foundation, a consistent message of peace, unity, and a bold determination to take power from the NDC to serve our nation.
I call on my friends, colleagues, and fellow patriots to rise above division, join hands, and support Dr. Bawumia’s vision for a prosperous Ghana.
