Veteran Nollywood actor Chiwetalu Agu has dismissed recent rumours of his death circulating widely on social media, calling the claims false and unfounded.
In a message to the public, Agu reassured his fans and well-wishers that he is alive and well.
“Chief Chiwetalu Agu, okenmiri n’ezoru Oha 1 of Etiti Amokwe, Enugu State is not going to die anytime soon.
“Instead, I will be the one to bury my enemies. Na who dig pit go fall inside. Na who dig grave go fall inside,” he stated.
The actor also reflected on his family and personal health, emphasizing that he still has much life to live.
“I am yet to carry my grandchildren, and I must do so in good health when my children are ready,” Agu added.
The rumours reportedly originated from a video shared online, which falsely claimed that the actor had passed away.
