Come to Ukraine and hear the bombs for yourself

Undisputed heavyweight boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk has thrown down a different kind of challenge—this time, not in the ring but on the world stage.
The Ukrainian fighter has called on U.S. President Donald Trump to witness firsthand the harsh realities of war by spending a week in Ukraine.“
President Trump, open your eyes. Please stop the war in Ukraine,” Usyk pleaded during a recent interview with the BBC and Piers Morgan.
His message was clear: this is not just about politics or negotiations—it’s about human lives and survival.
Usyk rejected the notion that peace should come at the cost of Ukrainian territory.“Why should we give away even a piece of our land?
This is our home. Our people live here. It’s non-negotiable, he said.
Taking it a step further, the boxing champ invited Trump to stay at his house in Ukraine to get a taste of the fear and uncertainty Ukrainians endure daily.“
Come live in my home for a week. Every night we hear bombs. Every night there are sirens. You’ll understand what we’re going through, he added, his voice laced with frustration and urgency.
Usyk, who continues to train for his upcoming bout with British fighter Daniel Dubois, made it clear that though he’s focused in the ring, his heart remains with his homeland.
“We’re not just fighting for titles—we’re fighting for our lives, our families, and our future,” he said.
