COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa reassigned to Interior Ministry as Technical Advisor

A letter signed by the Secretary to the President on March 19, 2025, indicated that she would serve as a technical advisor to the Minister of Interior.
The letter indicated that the president is aware of her expertise and dedication to the country and will be a valuable asset at the Interior Ministry.
Earlier, the new Inspector General of Police had assigned her to head the research and planning unit of the Police Service.
In that role, she was expected to oversee research, policy development, and strategic planning for the police service, a key department responsible for shaping national policing strategies.
COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah was until recently the Executive Director of the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO).
