We’re focused on jobs, not just numbers — Kennedy Agyapong’s camp

A member of Kennedy Agyapong’s communications team, Kwasi Kwarteng, has emphasised that the former Assin Central MP’s presidential campaign is built on one key promise: jobs.

Speaking after the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) balloting exercise, Kwarteng outlined Kennedy Agyapong’s top priorities, stressing that the candidate’s focus is on job creation above all else.

“What is he bringing on board? Kennedy is bringing. I give you three things.

“One is jobs, two is jobs, three is jobs. That’s the most important,” he declared passionately.

Addressing comments about the relevance of the ballot number, Kwarteng clarified that while the team had not been fixated on a specific number, drawing number one gave them an unexpected advantage.

“You told me earlier that the number on the ballot really doesn’t matter. But here you are saying that number one… There has not been any contradiction,” he explained.

“Initially, I told you that we are not so much expectant. We are also not fixated with any number.

“But I’m saying that even after the ballot, number one gives us another advantage in terms of marketing, in terms of PR, in terms of visibility on the ballot.”

He concluded that the campaign has every reason to be optimistic, insisting that the position aligns perfectly with their vision and message to delegates ahead of the NPP presidential primaries.
