Dating isn’t for mating or cuddling but for gathering information – Bishop Agyinasare

The founder and head of Perez Chapel International, Bishop Charles Agyinasare, has advised persons in relationships against placing much focus on sexual intimacy during the dating phase.
In a video shared online on February 17, 2025, the renowned Ghanaian pastor, the renowned Ghanaian pastor emphasized that dating should be a time for learning about and getting to know one’s partner, not a time for sexual intimacy.
He said prioritizing sexual intimacy in a relationship will affect one’s rational choices and decisions in the relationship.
“Remember that dating is not for mating or for coupling. When you start going out with somebody, it’s not for you to have sex together. Because mating will cloud your judgment. Your period of meeting is the period of gathering data,” Archbishop Agyinasare stated.
He further warned that failing to thoroughly understand a partner before marriage could lead to significant problems afterward.
“The truth of the matter is, if you don’t do more work on the person you are going to marry before you marry, you will do more work after the marriage,” he added.
