Do you know grammar? Oyedepo slams claims denying genocide in Nigeria

Bishop David Oyedepo has tackled individuals downplaying the scale of violent attacks in parts of Nigeria, insisting that ongoing incidents amount to genocide.
“You say there’s no genocide? So what is genocide? Do you know grammar?” he asked, expressing shock that anyone would suggest otherwise.
“The case is already on that record, on genocide, and you say there’s no genocide? Are you sleeping?”
He referenced the recent attack on a Christ Apostolic Church congregation, questioning how such an incident could be casually dismissed. “So what happened last week in a CAC church is that genocide or genotype?” he said.
The founder of Living Faith Church also criticised what he described as deliberate attempts to distort reality.
“You find a company of liars, hanging around everywhere, as if others are dummies. The Holy Ghost curses liars,” he stated.
Calling for divine intervention, Bishop Oyedepo prayed for consequences for those he believes are misrepresenting the truth about the crisis.
“Holy Ghost come down and inflict curses on those lying against the truth,” he added.
