Don’t let your dislike for people around me force you to vote against me—Bawumia to Delegates

Former flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has pleaded with delegates not to let their dislike for people close to him cloud their judgment when going to the polls.
According to him, they should vote for him based on the competence he has exhibited over the years so that he can come to power and help Ghana and the political party.
“I don’t have problems with anyone, and you are aware of that. However, if you don’t like anyone close to me, that should not be a reason for you not to vote for me. Don’t let your dislike for the person force you to vote against me,” he told delegates in the Ashanti Region.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia said he has several plans to make the party better and the country more comfortable for the people of Ghana.
He assured delegates that during his reign as president, every constituency will have no less than 10 appointments.
“If I am voted in and I become president, every constituency will have a minimum of 10 appointments. So regions with more constituencies will have a lot of appointments,” he stated.
