Don’t let your lazy leaders swerve, question them for their failure

Deputy National Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Malik Basintale has urged the youth of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to ask questions of their leadership.

He questioned the whereabouts of the party’s leadership at Ablekuma North indicating that the party had no direction nor strategy going into the rerun.

To him, the party’s leadership has been lazy and has proven that they lack the balls to manage the political party.

Malik Basintale holds the view that the base of the NPP is currently weak so the party must work towards uniting its front and not copying blindly from the NDC.

His Post Read “You had no strategy. No direction. No plan and you expected to win Ablekuma North?? How!!

Your party leaders shamefully boycotted and just when they realised they had prematurely ejaculated, they issued a U-turn and never showed up in reality.

Your candidate was campaigning on the message of she being a widow, JM wanting a third term etc.

Your armchair executives never showed up on the election day.

Where was your National Chairman, General secretary, Organizer etc.

Where was “Chairman Buga” who was shouting all over a night before??

Where was Afenyo-markin who is today calling us names.

Where were your former appointees and Mps.

Why didn’t they show up like they have been doing anytime it’s time for posh dinners or luxurious birthday parties and celebrations or to dance “Siisi fiaa”.

Instead of focusing your energies on calling your former appointees out for leaving your candidate to her faith, you are here pointing fingers and issuing baseless cautions against the future. A future of 42 years in opposition?

When the NDC lost in 2016, we focused on unity walks, studying reports and re-uniting our base. That got us back in no time.

Instead of learning and picking up from the scratch, you are there forming blue, violet and pink-army’s at a stage where even the adhesive of your base is weak.

Dear, NPP footsoldiers, re-think! Ask your leaders questions. Ask them again and again till they provide you answers.

Don’t let them swerve their negligence and laziness.

I rode to Ablekuma North to campaign with the 5k Men and 3k women. We did it peacefully and won the election smoothly with a well coordinated plan, vigilance and resilience.

Once again congratulations to Ewurabena Aubynn!
